(UPCOMING) v028 (unstable) - Status update.

Just wanted to give you all an update on the situation over here.
I might be able to do some playtesting over the week-end, but there hasn't been much progress in INDUSTRY so far due to real-world complications - mainly the weather, but also academia.
As of 18/3, I haven't pinned down what exactly causing the memory leak as of yet (see previous devblog for context), but I did end up improving the UX for selecting buildings a little bit, now each category of building has it's own heading at least, and the game no longer freezes every time you open up the build menu.
I did end up finding more issues during the last two weeks;
- Conveyor System: there was a problem with how the conveyor system handled conveyors that had constraints on where they could receive items from, the script that handles outputting items from machines didn't take into account whether or not it could actually output to a conveyor taking into account the direction that the conveyor was facing, and the conveyor system didn't have the means to support that kind of testing. That will hopefully be fixed in v027
- Contracts: There was an issue where completed contracts would have their KPI reward lost / diminished due to the game's KPI limit, now, you should not be able to accept contracts that have a KPI reward higher than your KPI limit, and contracts will not give you their rewards until you have enough space in your KPI limit to be able to use the rewards fully.
I am also considering a fix to an exploit regarding players who choose one repeatable contract to use, and stay with that contract for the entire game.
As, i tried to counter this exploit by decreasing the amount of KPI rewards you get from repeatable contracts to discourage these players), but that just makes everything a whole lot slower.
I'm considering making contracts repeatable only a set amount of times, so i can increase KPI rewards, and have certainty that players will use more than just one contract, but am still figuring out how to give players access to purchasing supply packs (as since there are no more infinitely repeatable contracts, there is no longer an infinite amount of KPI, meaning that the player can bankrupt themselves in terms of KPI). This idea is not final.
I'm going to be prioritizing the memory leak problem over the other tasks now, i'll see how far i can get before this Saturday (22/3).
